YIPPY - COUSINS ARE IN TOWN!!

We had Aunt Jeannie, and Cousins Caleb, Josiah, Samuel and Lydia stay with us for a few days. We had so much fun with them. We went to watch Austin play basketball in Logan and drove to Jackson Hole. We were really sad to see them leave.
We hope they come back soon and next time bring Uncle Cuyler!!

All the kids on our trip to Jackson.

Lydia and Sarah making cupcakes.

Allie and Josiah are sharing a hug before bed.

WE'RE JUMPING FOR EASTER JOY!!!!

Easter is here and it's our first Easter away from our family. We miss everyone so much, but we have decided to make it as much like home as we can. We are searching for eggs of all kinds from the Easter Bunny and also our money-filled eggs from Grandma and Grandpa H. We wish we could have been there looking in your backyard but we had fun finding them here. We also searched for yummy candy and stuff from Granny and Papa. We love our family of bunnies, we used them to decorate our Easter breakfast table. Thanks guys - We MISS You All!

We had the usual eggs benedict, hash browns and cinnamon twists courtesy of Pillsbury since we didn't have any homemade cinnamon rolls from Grandma C, we miss those the MOST.

Here we are in our Easter's finest, just getting home from church!

Here is our table ready for our Easter feast, almost like Granny's, but nothing is like being at Granny's on Easter. We think of our traditional Easter dinner as we eat ham, Easter potatoes, rolls, fruit and let's not forget the chocolate covered strawberries! We finished off our bunny cake for dessert.

GRANDMA'S EASTER PARTY

Saturday, we had our annual Easter Party compliments of Grandma Chapman. We missed her tons, but we still had lots of fun!!!

First we ate our traditional Easter shaped sandwiches (which are our favorite), chips, olives, pickles and punch.

Now that we've eaten, it's on to the craft. Bunny boxes are what we are making. We all had a different idea for our bunnies, so there are no two bunnies alike. This project took us a long time and a lot of cutting but in the end we had masterpieces.

We had fun decorating Easter eggs the old fashioned way, natural egg dye's. We tried; spinach, beets, coffee, carrots, chamomile tea, and purple grapes. They turned out great.

We read our story and then off to the best part - our traditional bunny cake and ice cream. We REALLY missed grandma's homemade hot fudge.

Thanks Grandma for a wonderful Easter party, We MISS You and LOVE You!
